Dr. Rubén C. Aguirre Gutierrez

Physician graduated from the School of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He completed his specialty in Internal Medicine at the Christus Muguerza high specialty hospital in Monterrey Nuevo León. Received the certification from the Mexican Board of internal medicine y Mexican Board of Gastroenterology . Subsequently he studied the subspecialty of Gastroenterology at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán in México City (UNAM)(National institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition Salvador Zubirán). During that time, he received training in digestive endoscopy. He received the certification from the Consejo Mexicano de Gastroenterología (Mexican council of Gastroenterology). He performed an Advanced Endoscopy Service Training at the IMSS Northeast National Medical Center (UMAE 25). He also underwent an endoscopy training at the hospital of the Univerzitetni Klinični Center Ljubljana, in Slovenia. He has performed more than 2000 endoscopies, colonoscopies and therapeutic endoscopic cholangiographies throughout his career. He is a specialist in Endoscopic Capsule. He has carried out many research projects which he has presented at national congresses.
